About the Role:
Randstad are currently seeking experienced Industrial Cleaners for our client in the Defence industry.
About the Role:
- Performing cleaning and maintenance duties such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows
- Safely handling various cleaning supplies and chemicals and knowledge of and operating industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Disposing of industrial waste properly, following environmental regulations and safety standards
- Adhering to safety protocols, including wearing protective clothing and equipment
- Managing the collection, segregating and proper disposal of industrial waste, recyclables, and hazardous materials
- Ensuring compliance with safety date sheets and occupational safety health administration standards
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Proven industrial cleaning experience.
- Licensing: Forklift HRWL preferred (candidates with strong cleaning experience but no HRWL may be considered).
- Compliance: Must be an Australian Citizen with a National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months).
- Safety: Valid Confined Space certification (within 2 years) and completion of a pre-employment medical. Hep A & B vaccinations are preferred.
